April 13th, 2011 by

MELVILLE, N.Y. – May 23, 2011 – Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW) today announced that Connected Development has been named a qualified provider for Arrow’s Consulting Engineering Services (ACES) program.

Through ACES, Arrow offers system and board-level design services through pre-screened and certified third-party providers. Arrow evaluates hundreds engineering services companies throughout North America and selects a handful of industry leaders to make the highest level of engineering talent for referral to their customers.

As an ACES partner, Connected Development will provide hardware design, software development and test and certification services to customers integrating wireless technology into new and existing applications.

“Our customers are increasingly embracing wireless technologies to give them a competitive edge, but sometimes experience a steep learning curve and high costs associated with wireless design,” said David West, vice president of supplier marketing and asset for Arrow Electronics.  “During our evaluation process, Connected Development clearly demonstrated the ability to simplify the wireless development cycle.  Their depth and breadth of experience, scope of services and quality of facilities make Connected Development a winning option for our customers.”

“We are pleased to be selected by Arrow Electronics as an ACES member for engineering services,” said Stefan Lindvall, president of Connected Development. “We look forward to working with Arrow customers to bring a host of exciting new wireless devices to market.”
